Resolution for Debate as follows;

Seek, therefore support, at some time in the future, hopefully the near one, for the following Resolution;

All capitalist football Icons, (over the 1980s-to the present period) be Back taxed 100 Percent of all incomes received for Playing/Coaching Football minus the minimum wage, including all nights of the realm and all European personel who worked there over this period of time. If they are unable or unwilling to produce this back tax, should this resolution be passed, then this Socialist Football Federation calls on our Comrades in (what would by necessity be, in order to obviously advance such a resolution, for debate) the Socialist Judiciary to levy Indefinite Terms of Lawful Socialist detention for all those referred to here, by Socialist Judges in the country that claims to have invented football, with Rehabilationary Programs made available to all who are unable or unwilling to pay back their Back Football taxes, until such a time as these Taxes are paid, or deemed to have been repaid via alternative custodial work, by the appropriate authority.

(This excludes footballers who have played football in the country that claims to have invented football, from the continents that have been imperialised by the western Imperialists, and both were and still are considered to be the 3rd world, ie Underdeveloped Countries, such as South America and the African Continent for example).

Please see, Eduardo Galeneo’s, “Open Veins of South America” and any Books that examine Imperialism in the African Continent and John Pilger’s Documentary Films Also, see Dennis Waterman’s film, “A Captains Tale – Free on Utube”

Also, however, this resolution calls for; “The immediate introduction of a minimum wage for footballers, that reflects or is on par with the average Industrial workers wage, as a MAXIMUM, that can be paid for playing football full time in the country that claims to have invented football and that must include ALL future footballers from any other regions, anywhere in the World, who would be playing full time professional Socialist football, in the geography referred to, commencing season 2015.

Long Live Marxist/Lenninism! Long Live Socialist Football!

This not only should, but can infact be the ONLY interpretation of the meaning or a Socialist Interpretation of the meaning of “Financial Fair Play” in football. Otherwise, it would clearly not be Socialist. Long Live “Financial Fair Play in Football”

I wish to dedicate this resolution to 2 of my heroes and ethical mentors, Doctor Ernesto “Che” Guevara and Mr Arthur Scargill”, and obviously seriously think that a Socialist Football Federation in the country that claims to have invented football, would support this resolution, as a measure to eliminate all corruption, in football, via introducing Socialist Policies to replace Capitalist ones, which arguably have created the situation described above, in football, in the geography referred to throughout, this comment.

For those who think this resolution is outrageous or too radical, as advocate for this resolution to be SUPPORTED, I would remind you or make you aware that in the 1980s, when questioned about where their Political Preferences lay, in the the country that claims to have invented football, well over 80 percent of the Premier League Footballers, as it is referred to in the geography of the country that claims to have invented football, answered in a Poll, published in a newspaper in the geography of the country that claims to have invented football, that they would support “Thatcher’s Tory Party” an organisation, referred to or defined or described, by a Socialist MP in the city Liverpool, as, “Top Hatted Fascits” also in the very same 1980s. (This or these are FACTS).

As resolution proposer therefore, I seek a seconder and IMPLORE Conference to PASS this resolution at the FIRST Inaugral debate at any Future Socialist Football Federation in the country where this game was claimed as an Invention. Get off your knees and Fight for Socialist Control of what is and ALWAYS will be, a working class game” Conference, support this resolution! Capitalism and Capitalists Out of Football, in the country where this game was claimed as an Invention.

14 February 2014 20:28

If full time professional footballers, who work, lets say in division 3, equally as much, or as hard, as those who work in division 1, were in receipt of, as they arguably should be, a more equitable income per week, per year, and so on, as those in the divisions above them were, then match fixing, would either rapidly become a past historical fact, or again arguably and logically be far less prevalent than it appears to be at present, according to some participants in this documentary. Forward Socialist footballers!

Also to those who argue that IF this match fixing is, as this documentary claimed
so, then it could surely be argued that it was merely an almost inevitable protest and even neccessary protest, as far as the footballers were concerned, and made essentially, directly against the phenomenal and appauling economic or financial inequalities that Capitalist control over football has inevitably engineered.
Of course this applies ONLY to the Footballers and NOT of course to the Match Fixers
themselves who are obviously interested ONLY in making as much money as possible.

Also ,if that opinion or argument, which preceded the above paragraph has not been made as yet, then maybe it is time that it should be made.
If this is a logical argument, then it is very regrettable that capitalist control (over what is a working class game, and always has been, and as long as it survives it always will be), has arguably led to this situation. To the footballers in this program who spoke frankly about this and for those who may be sympathetic to their predicament
arguably created by these inequalities, amongst what are fellow ( at the end of
the day) workers , then, I for one, as a retired socialist footballer salute you! The economic inequalities that clearly prevail here in professional football, are what that buffoon of a mayor in London believes are a necessity for economic well being and development. This particular example of exactly that type of economic reality, in this particular industry, that these documentary film makers half examined here, clearly shows just how ridiculous his arguments and logic are.

It is therefore, in this retired socialist footballers opinion, capitalism “over-control” over professional football, that is fundamentally responsible for this situation, IF of course the documentary accurately portraits a situation which appears to be affecting a relatively very small number of professional football games played in the world today.
If the program makers however really wanted to facilitate an understanding by any
viewers, of WHY this is actually occurring, then surely they should have
looked at the huge differences in income between what ARE, effectively fellow workers in a highly specialized discipline, that demands each and every participant puts maybe well over 10 years, of very very arduous and often repetitive work in to, in order to make it into the professional leagues.
Maybe if the program had included those 2 irrefutable FACTS,(to repeat, inequalities in income yet equalities in terms of very demanding work neccessary by those in the,, for example, division 1 and 3,, for example of professional football in Country A, B or C) then at least the readers who either don’t know FOOTBALL, from a FOOTBALL
PLAYERS perspective, would have been in a much better informed position to
arguably make a much better, informed decision or analysis or judgement on this
particular issue.
If any jury were to be made up from or exclusively from working class footballers who have, lets say at least a decade of playing experience in this game, the most technically demanding and technically difficult, arguably of all others, then it is this
writers contention and hypothesis, that the arguments articulated here not to justify the footballers actions but to explain the reasons why this occured, would most
definitely be heard very sympathetically by any such specialist jury.

Hopefully any enquiries that either FIFA make or any other authorities make or continue to make into this particular, and obviously very important issue, will
hopefully factor into any such enquiry, (as the Documentary film makers here
arguably also should have), these 2 very important and clearly very
relevant variables or points. This documentary therefore, did not again arguably include literally two thirds of the most clearly critical and relevant facts in the making of this film, in order for any viewers to fully or more fully understand this
particular situation.

Finally, although FIFA are the World Governing Authority of Football, it seems that the
issues raised here in this documentary would require debate and discussion at
every National governing authority of football for there to be a policy decided
upon which could address these very important issues in football on an individual country by country basis. Perhaps Mr Alex Ferguson, who spoke out very recently, about the issues attempted here in this comment, advocated possibly or even probably the most intelligent way forwards (with regard to this match fixing issue raised in this particular documentary), when he spoke of the issue of “Financial Fair” play in football now being on the agenda.
It does not seem possible however, that an answer to this issue, can be found over
night, but maybe starting a debate at Federation levels, where this is the governing body of football, in whichever geography pertains, could be at least be a sound starting point.
Here, “Financial Fair” play and the issue of “match fixing” may well be seen as necessary items on an Agenda Formula for any such conferences to debate, where bye the introduction into professional football of the former may ensure that the latter is either minimized as much as is realistically possible, because at the moment it seems to be something that is potentially adversarial to the future of this great game, unless or until a Policy at individual football country level, as well as of course the continuation of this debate by FIFA, can find a way forwards to address this situation, as outlined in the documentary film.
Therefore, if it is accurate to argue that “match fixing” is a direct consequence or even partially a consequence of there NOT being “Financial Fair” play in professional football today, then surely this, as an ISSUE itself, must be quickly debated at Federation Level, in all geographies affected, as it clearly has been already identified as a good or even necessary place to start any such debate, by one of the most successful coaches in the entire history of football.
The title of this arguably, one third only completed documentary is, “The Fix – Football a Corrupt Game.”
If football is ever seen in such a way by young people especially, then this
clearly would be disastrous for football. Maybe therefore, it would be better for all concerned to acknowledge that football certainly needs some repair work, but obviously a
completely or radically different formula is required which would be essentially an anti-thesis to the buffoon boris johnson’s formula for economic well being, as this is arguably what has brought Football and continues to bring it into disrepute.
Thus obviously football does needs some repair work doing and the introduction of financial Fair play into football, seems to be theoretically at least the prescription that not only could but should do this. However, only time will tell whether it can or not!
This debate has clearly already started and if this comment may have added something to that debate then hopefully it may assist in the development of Football which practises the exact opposite economic philosophy to the one referred to here and advocated by the mayor of London, another tory football ignoramous who does nt undestand that working class footballers will ALWAYS find a way to basically embarrass BUFFOONS like Boris Johnson.
People who have despaired at how football has been mismanaged for so long in so many geographies may take some heart that progressive changes may well not be too far away and if it means football saying f””k off to the likes of Boris Johnson and Sir Thomas Lipton (Please see Dennis Waterman Film, “A Captain’s Tale” free on utube), and their equivalents wherever that may be, then that is something that surely all socialists should celebrate.
It is clear however, that this is a very major issue for football and it does not seem possible that football will be able to survive literally unless some policy can be found to prevent this. Having spent some time in a country where most people seemed to be aware football was corrupt, (via the mainstream media) and seeing with my own eyes the empty stadiums that accompanied this remark should not be seen this as alarmist but as simply realistic!
Obviously therefore, football faces a serious issue yet hopefully via debate, football can move forwards but it would help if documentary film makers would at least paint a more complete picture if they are to constructively contribute to that debate and blaming a handful of individual football players, even when the match fixers were included in the film, to explain a much more complex sociological issue, wont do that and neither did this not even half finished film. (( Marks for this film—2/10. A very poor effort !))
