Internet obsession, like any obsession, can be a real problem. But the reason the Chinese government is fighting the Internet is because they know the Internet undermines their power structure on a fundamental level. That’s why there is no Internet in North Korea, even in the fake touristy areas.

i m too old to play this games but i fully understand teenagers liking more this virtual reality than living like a robots in cocrete world. They would fight for something better but the majority of the people perpetuate this reality by accepting their fate.

Its not internet addiction, rather a teenagers’ global epidemic addiction to online computer gaming. China was one of the first countries to recognize this addiction as a mental health issue. The internet is is merely the conduit.
